DS Graphics and Universal Wilde joined forces in December 2019 with the goal of creating a company that offers our customers the most innovative suite of communications solutions in the industry.
In February 2020, we initiated the construction of a 300,000+ ft2, brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing and service facility in Canton, MA. Along with the rest of the world, our construction plans slowed to a crawl due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are thrilled to share that we are kicking off Phase 2 of our goal to provide our customers with an offering that not only meets their immediate needs but positions them to compete well into the future as communication channels evolve.
Over the next year, DS Graphics | Universal Wilde will be investing over $12 million into our Canton location in the following areas:
- Additional high-quality, high-speed, web-fed digital inkjet capacity.
- Additional high quality cut sheet digital capacity.
- Integrated finishing solutions.
- Additional inserting, ink jetting, and mail systems.
- New sheetfed offset equipment.
- New bindery equipment.
- New waste-reducing packaging line.
- Full SOC 2, ISO 9001-2015 compliance across all offerings.
- Fully secured, HIPAA compliant facility.
- A suite of software solutions including:
- AI-powered audience targeting solutions.
- AI-powered churn reduction solutions.
- AI-powered “new mover” acquisition solutions for our B2C customers.\
- Enhanced mail tracking and retargeting.
- Enhanced omnichannel solutions.
- “To the rooftop” display and in-app digital advertising to complement direct mail campaigns.
- Automated lead capture solutions to drive targeted direct mail.
- Upgraded web store technology.
Also, due to the efficiencies gained through the new equipment and technologies, we will be transitioning out of our Lowell, MA facility in 2025 and uniting our team under one roof in Canton, MA.
