The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced a new postal rate increase that will take effect on July 13, 2025. Here are some key highlights of the new rate structure:
- Modest increases for First-Class stamps and metered letters of 6.8% to 7.2%.
- Adjustments in pricing for Marketing Mail and flats with an average increase of 7.4%.
- New rate structures for saturation and nonprofit categories.
- Elimination of NDCs (Network Distribution Centers) will have an impact on rates for saturation mailings. Additionally, there will be a 30% reduction in SCF (Sectional Center Facility) discounts.
