JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overall insert machine operation in a team environment. Able to accurately produce match mailings.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Read and understand work orders, check materials and postage.
- Pay proper attention to time logs, meter sheets, skid tags and quality of work.
- Share responsibility of tying bundles and sacking or traying mail, work as a team.
- Operating machine using proper safety habits.
- Responsible for the whole job at the machine as a team effort.
- Skilled at producing matched mailings on the inserter.
- Responsible for health and safety of immediate work area, and attentiveness to the company at large.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience running Pitney Bowes Inserter.
- Basic mechanical ability, knowledge of machine safety.
- Ability to teach others.
